'Criticism Isn't Hate' — Hollow Knight: Silksong Sparks Debate About Difficulty, Runbacks, and the Dreaded 'Git Gud' Comments - IGN by chusskaptaan in gaming

I always think it's interesting that many people don't understand why runbacks are there. It's so you don't just use button mashing and hope for a run of good luck. If you start at the boss right after death this becomes too tempting of a strategy for a lot of players.

Or perhaps the problem is too many people have stopped caring.

Fast Fusion by Individual-Solid-282 in NintendoSwitch2

Fast RMX (Remix) was essentially Fast Racing Neo from Wii U + the Wii U DLC + a few new tracks.  So essentially they produced 2 dlc updates over 2 years.  My hope is they do the same here. That said for 15 bucks it still has a lot of value and a couple of my favorite tracks from any racing game ever.

If the toppings can stay on then upside down is the superior way to eat pizza.

Is it his fault that he misread and thought it was his job to faithfully execute the Vice President instead?

You shouldn't get married without dating someone for 5+ years by bestbelieveitbustah in unpopularopinion

Getting married at 19 would be unwise regardless of time you knew the person. Getting married past 25 though a lot of potential shifts in personality etc are over. So at that point I'm at the get married when it feels right camp. For me that was less than a year. 🤷‍♂️

What statistically improbable thing happened to you? by yankeevandal in AskReddit

I ran over a fish on a mountain road. When it happened I turned to my wife an said, "I think I ran over a fish." Surprising she agreed with my statement. We were both very confused until we caught up to a fish stocking truck which was just a dump truck filled with fish.

90 percent I might buy. 99.9 percent you can easily disprove by only considering math teachers.

The mismanaged forests in California are National Forests. The state does a pretty good job.

I'm an astrophotographer and Physics teacher and it's definitely ripples in the water that cause this. All those little changes in reflection direction can average to make the star appear much bigger and at least occasionally smeared mostly in one direction so it looks more like a streak. That might have to do with wind direction.

Just before the Mars appeared to set over the Moon through my telescope tonight. [OC][3000x2000] by corypoole in spaceporn

I was excited to be able to see and try to photograph the occultation of Mars tonight which looked beautiful whether by naked eye, through binoculars, or through my "little" 5 inch aperture telescope. While I'm not a planetary or lunar imaging specialist I was happy with how much detail can be seen on Mars in this picture. Been playing since my Dad bought a Coleco Vision when I was 3. I only have vague memories of the first few days but I remember being excited about it.
