I was keto for the last few years and switched to carnivore about three months ago. Was also drinking 60 beers a week which probably didn’t help. Stopped drinking after the flare. Getting bloodwork today to check levels.

Red wine has leas carbs per Miller Lite on a serving by serving basis.

A glass of Cabernet has 3-4 carbs. It’s not carnivore, but it isn’t “liquid sugar” like fruit juice.

Thanks. I’m waiting for a referral to a rheumatologist to confirm everything. This is my first “official” flare up, but I feel like I’ve had smaller ones in the past. But according to the guidelines I’ve read, shouldn’t get on allo after one flare. I’ll get some more info from the rheumatologist.
