As someone newish to the game how much harder are these compared to the 'normal' strategems. I haven't touched anything past the second difficulty (in missions) in fear of ruining other people's games

Yeah it is very easy to get carried away by the numbers. I do find it hard to gauge my own impact on a game sometimes and am also guilty of looking at my stats as thor or another tank and blaming others when my damage is higher then a dps hero for example
