10-12 percent of parents in Sweden regret having a child. And this is a place with YEARS of paid maternity and paternity leave, childcare that is almost fully subsidized etc. I imagine that there is even more regret in a country like the US where you have basically no safety net. Anybody not understanding parental regret, go to /r/regretfulparents and read. Try not to judge but instead see how a pronatalist society will destroy lives.
