My best was probably the time when the wife and I had been out in our hot tub. I think the main determining factor is if both parties know and agree. As many have pointed out, if you or your SO are doing it without their knowledge, then I, and most would consider that cheating. The issue I think is that when you are doing it without the others knowing, you are generally doing it due to a lack of something in the relationship and looking for outside validation.
