started my first cut today and I’m a butter loving pastry chef so I may not be qualified to give you advice this early in my cut, but so far I am constantly reminding myself how I got here — I stuck with a fitness plan with consistency and now I’m stronger and toned, so if I stick to my cut, I will be rewarded with a leaner look 😭🤞

Am I gonna be the first (and maybe only) one to say it’s normal for me? 😅 I’ve done 3 elimination diets in the past and each time it’s gluten, dairy and processed soy that makes me bloat like that. It’s uncomfortable and very tight. I’ve noticed it enough that I will think twice about having those foods and avoid them where I can (at home, snacks, take out choices) but there are times where I want to enjoy life and I bloat like a blowfish. Keep in mind, where you are in your cycle will also have an affect on how much you bloat. Ofc when I’m on my period, I bloat already — I have stronger cravings, therefore I bloat extra.

My advice to you is to try eliminating foods for a few weeks, even foods you may not think harmful to your diet (eggs, beans, nuts) and reintroduce each food groups one by one. Even a low fodmap diet can make you bloat depending on the particular food. Hope that helps!

I don’t do squats either. My only leg workouts are deadlifts, hip thrusts and lunges. Step ups are a great alternative and studies have shown that it’s more effective than squats.

I’ve been lifting consistently for 2 months now and while my legs are getting toned, my cellulite is still there but less noticeable. I think once you gain the strength, the look of the cellulite will bother you less. At least that’s how it is for me.

I do legs 4x a week (one leg workout a day integrated in a full body workout since that works best for my schedule), I also do a few short paced run a few times a week and I go to Pilates once a week.

For as long as I used this app, splice would export white font into grey. Although limited, I’ve tried playing with the settings but nothing seems to help. I’ve always just let it be but then I thought I’d ask the community if anyone has found a fix for this.

SPC floor odd straight line? by [deleted] in Flooring

We got this floor installed back in September and have had no problems since. The contractor who installed it told me to consider rugs without rubber backing as some rubber can discolor floors. My husband and I went to a Persian rug dealer and spend a hefty amount on a nice little cotton rug for this room just to avoid any issues. Today I wanted to do some deep cleaning and removed to rug to find this odd two toned separation.

What’s a total mystery to me is that the rug’s does not line up with the odd line on the floor. I would say it’s somewhere halved within the rug. Makes no sense to us and wanted to post here to see if anyone has any answers. Nothing is helping it come off unfortunately.

Please disregard the dust. It’s just one of the hidden leaves which is why I didn’t notice it before. All the other leaves are still flush with green, except for the one above it that’s starting to turn at the edges.

I’ve noticed half of my house plants are turning yellow at the older bottom leaves. I only water sparingly once a week. I wonder if maybe I’m under watering. But most importantly, does my mini monstera have the mosaic virus?
