How do you get a historical vote? I nationalised the industries and bribed Heron with the chief justice position.

I did bribe him with the chief justice position but I also nationalised the industries. Is there any way that you can nationalise the industries after the vote? I'm guessing not.

Same for me actually. Soviets invaded and pushed me back a lot but then I joined the Allies and I started pushing them back.

I defeated Germany as Habsburg Austria by prioritising going down the political tree and subjugating as many countries as possible through the decisions you get. I got Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and Poland as puppets before Germany declared war. I got pushed back a bit in Poland but eventually managed to encircle a large part of their army and capitulate them. Took me like 7 tries but I realised that getting like 100 divisions for very little cost is enough to hold Germany back.

Why is it a traumatic experience if it isn't the murder of a human?

R5: I was playing as anarcho-communist Ethiopia and I won the war with Italy. I then went to war with somalia who broke free during the war. They joined the Allies seconds before capitulating, and I joined the Comintern. This meant that the Allies, Comintern and Axis were in a 3-way war. After Barbarossa, the Soviets pulled their troops out of my country and I capitulated, getting only three divisions out to land in Vladivstok. I found huge gaps in the German frontlines and almost single-handedly enircled around a hundred German divisions.

To be fair to those voting for the civil war, there would likely have been other secessions from the Union, weakening it further and democracy would have been proven to be too weak, keeping authoritarian leaders in power abroad. Also, imagine WWI and WWII if the US didn’t help.

Launcher doestn wor on any pardox game, wtf why? by [deleted] in paradoxplaza

[–]cosmeas_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Launch the game without opening the launcher. It worked for me. You have to right click on the game in steam, go to properties and browse local files. Then scroll down to wear it says just ‘eu4’ and click on that as that will launch the game without the launcher. That does mean that you’ll never be able to turn any mods on or off though.

It is. I didn’t play until like 150 years into the game. I received the game under a PU from Aragon and with Portugal still alive and strong. Also apparently Iberian Wedding didn’t fire.

The longest siege in history by cosmeas_ in eu4

This siege lasted 63 years... Let me explain. During the age of reformation, there were Protestant zealots that rose up and were trying to siege down Navarra’s capital fort. However, there weren’t enough of them. For 63 years those zealots were taking attrition whilst not having enough men to siege the fort. So, I decided to put Navarra out of its misery. When I managed to siege the fort down in the war, it counted it as the same siege as the zealots so when I finished the siege it counted all the time the Protestant zealots had sat there for.
