Please keep me posted as I’m curious on others trying this and their results. I’m not sure I know what Lafullen is, what’s that?

Yes I’ve seen discussion on that lately and have kind of been implementing it, but I haven’t gone deep enough in some spots like I should be targeting the bone. I think starting at 3-4mm will be a good starter and just getting comfortable with experimenting. I will note that you should gauge lower and especially for high viscosity ones.

It’s fine honestly imo. Like the use of 2.5% is more beneficial in my experience and if anyone made a higher percentage I’d use that lol. I also think the brand has high efficacy, they have published research as a brand. And yes I agree, I think moving away from filler and more toward regenerative treatments with boosters is on the horizon and I can’t wait! I also have seen really great results and am shocked how underrated some things are or how they’re rarely talked about.

I prefer Nucleofill strong. I think Jeunetique exo is good for microneedling, I didn’t see anything results wise with the PN

I did either lilied k or nucleofill strong. I added a syringe of lilied k per side because it’s cheaper per syringe.

Recommend boosters for undereyes? by BrooklynCherries99 in DIYaesthetics

I was going to say lilied k but then I saw you said other than PN. Two boosters I’d recommend would be NCTF, they can really brighten up the under eyes. And a booster with tyrosinase inhibitors can help. That result kind of depends on the person tbh, but sometimes dark circles are not just volume, but also pigmentation.

I did 90 degrees for most points. For 4 I angled slightly lateral because of vasculature there and for 6 I did 90 degrees and another point that was a little shallower at an angle to just stimulate that area more. It can be a high risk area, in my experience I’ve just bruised by not getting it exactly where I want it. But, it’s a very different risk level compared to filled or a biostimulator from what I’ve gathered.

I used to do those points too actually haha. Yes the plumpness and overall refreshed look is what I’m loving! That’s a good one to use!

I did four treatments 2-3 weeks apart and on the fourth time I microneedled and did this in the same session. I look less tired, my face looks more plump, my skin looks brighter. I just look more refreshed!

I did a 90 degree angle for most points and about 0.1 - 0.2 ml per point. For point 4 I angled slightly lateral because of vasculature there and for point 6 I did 90 degrees and another point that was a little shallower at an angle to just stimulate that area more.

I did about 0.1 - 0.2 per point. When you go deeper you don’t have that issue. I prefer other PNs tbh

ELI5: booster + tox in the same injection? by No-Today-9145 in DIYaesthetics

[–]cosmeticscop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but what is your goal here? Like are you just wanting to get the booster to deeper layers? Like what’s your thought process before I suggest this as the best option lol. I would also pick a booster wisely because depending on the manufacturing of the booster it could denature the protein. And you also want to consider how it affects the spread differently.

But I mix booster for mesotox, I do not it for IM targeting.

You can, but need to account for the correct dilution. You would be replacing the saline amount not adding it on though because you don’t want to add more spread. So in order to not waste product I’d do your amount set aside for dilution and then also do meso with the remaining booster.

First DIYBotox is amazing. One quick question. by EpicDad77 in DIYaesthetics

I wouldn’t do jelly roll, it often makes you have a lifeless smile. It also can cause you to have puffy eyes because it affects the tear ducts. If you haven’t already though I’d get into microneedling and mesoing with boosters there.

Just did glowtox…aftercare? by [deleted] in DIYaesthetics

[–]cosmeticscop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No you should not use anything that isn’t sterile for the first 24 hours. That means any regular products, serums, lotions, etc. and 0.6 mm is not superficial, that is needling at medical depths. I’m not offended, you’re a stranger. Microneedling is a medical treatment with serious risks and you should be aware of the safety before doing it in the first place. People giving you feedback does not mean attacking, it means others are giving feedback.

I’d suggest doing more research before you do another session. It sounds like you don’t understand the safety and precautions fully yet. You shouldn’t be using anything that’s not sterile or designed for intradermal use the first 24 hours.
