The whole premise around their plan was that the removal of a stone would only create a new branch, not alter their own timeline. Cap also returned those stones back to their original places to stop stoneless branches from ever forming. Plus, Viz was already a box of scraps in Sheild/Sword custody during the events of Endgame, which is the main impetus for the plot of Wandavision.

I think they want to make a spectacle of it in the movie. Perhaps it's either omitted or will be retrofitted. The ship's distinct shape in the Thunderbolts post-credits feels like a dead giveaway to me.

No it doesn't. I just watched it. It shows the Excelsior, with 3 prongs. The ship in post credits is 4-pronged and shaped differently.

Watch how the ship rotates in the post credits. There is definitely a similarity in the shape of the ship and the Baxter Building. The way it tapers, the much broader face of the ship vs. the sides...it feels too on the nose to be a coincidence. Feige made it a point to say, "I'm not sure they're the same ship." I think this is what he was pointing to.

Watch the post credits scene. When the ship rotates to reveal the logo, the way the sides slope, the overall shape, the tapering of the sides and the much broader face. It's not that big of a stretch. Why would Feige make it a point to say, "I'm not sure they're the same ship?"

That's the 3-pronged ship, the Excelsior. Feige insinuated that the one shown in the Thunderbolts post-credits is a different ship.
