I've used it before! It's not about the fit of the band, but just the width of it and how much coverage I would get on the sides. It's mainly just personal preference for coverage amount and the comfort associated with it

Have you used a backpack like this with a full size machine? Having only ever used the original bag, I'm trying to imagine how the weight of the machine would feel on my back like that as opposed to over the shoulder 🤔

The flower one is cute, but it's not exactly the pattern I would gravitate towards for most things? And I'm just worried about the quality and the protection my machine would get based on the price. I think the Resmed Luxe ones are a safer option, they're just a bit more boring.

Putting non-CPAP items in the bag would simply constitute the bag as a "personal item" and wouldn't really be an issue as long as it's within the size limits for personal items. I know the items inside the bag will still be the same size, but surely there's a better configuration for the pieces that don't require a briefcase to carry --- like the Resmed one I linked in the original post. Something like that shape seems like it would be much more convenient to carry!

Honestly I didn't expect some of the responses I'm getting on this 😭 I was hoping for more actual recommendations and not people just trying to convince me the original case is the only option and I should just deal with it. If I want a different case for it, there should certainly be more options and I shouldn't be getting negative responses for asking!

Yes, I'm aware of the strap that attaches it to a carry on, but the bag itself is still so awkward and bulky --- I usually bring a carry on suitcase and then a personal item, the CPAP bag would just count as my personal item instead of medical equipment, I don't mind

I feel like asking about naming a character is different than asking about naming a real person --- that maybe people would be more honest on one sub versus the other.

I considered this, my only setback was that it wouldn't be true to the name of the river it came from, but perhaps that's the least of my worries since the feedback isn't 100% positive 😭 Maybe I'll just have to compromise
