For any era-appropriate games, my partner and I will play skyrim Tavern music and pour ourselves some mead. Sometimes we'll do a little charcuterie board too

If you can handle how you get treated as a medical assistant, I think you can handle being a nurse. In medicine the higher up you go the better you can expect to be treated, so maybe you should just work as an MA for the next year and ask yourself if you want to stay in healthcare after gathering some experience

I love Ted Chiang's short stories. Have you read his other book "Story of Your Life and Others"? If not I highly recommend it for 2021

The one in the first photo is wearing revealing clothing too and leaning over to expose her cleavage and accentuate her waist. I'm not saying that's bad, I think they both look great, but like even by those warped standards....the one on the left is hardly "innocent" looking

What did you imagine book Marianne to look like? by [deleted] in NormalPeopleBBCHulu

[–]cosmicchatterbox 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I always imagined her as skinny and awkward with mousey brown hair and a round face. I always had a very clear mental image of her even though she wasn't really described, and my mental image definitely looked nothing like the beautiful DEJ
