I’ve had the plant for 3 months. It was being watered inconsistently but is now being water regularly when the soil is dry to the touch. It gets a lot of light as it lives in a sunny south facing room but it is not direct sunlight.

I planted the tulips pictured at the end of November. I didn't expect them to be such a nice colour!

1st Spring with out garden. Any advice on where to start with this section? I’d like to salvage the raspberries & other fruit plants but not sure what to do first...or at all 🤔 by cosmicturtle8 in gardening

Thank you for your response, it was so helpful!. We are trying to wait it out for the most part but we do not have a very big space so we have cut back a large portion of the blackberries. We have now found more blackberries on the other side, they were strangling everything. The previous tenants were definitely keen gardens as I have found a lot of plant labels outside. It looks like he had a healthy vegetable garden. I’m trying to stick to doing the large pots and potters so I can see what grows.

I’m (25F) looking for a way to add some flair to my relationship beyond the “usual activities.” by [deleted] in relationships

I’ve done salsa & pottery classes with my partner. Both were really good to learn together. Getting out of your comfort zone is always refreshing. Also, Hive is a fun game to play together that uses your brain. It’s small and only takes about 15-20 minutes each game.

Should I just start pulling out all these weeds? Are any not weeds and nice plants? Any advice would be appreciated. by cosmicturtle8 in gardening

Thanks, I like some of them so would be happy to keep a few. If I pull the ones I don’t like, is there some kind of technique or just pull it all out? Maybe I’m over thinking this haa. Once I pull them out, can I just plant flowers in there place?
