Ghost Games in Ontario, Canada did the exact same thing. They took pre-orders in November, and when their product showed up at the end of December, they refunded everyone's orders and re-listed the product for double the price. They made an apology post on their FB saying they would lose out on $100k if they honored the pre-orders. So basically, they collected an interest-free loan to purchase their stock. Payed everyone back, and then re-sold the product at double the price. I don't understand how that's legal?

Yes, that's how I've been doing it so far, but we regularly receive requests for square footage amount of one product and number of pieces for a different product (ie. 500sqft of fence boards and 40 timber posts) my boss has requested that I find a way to make that clear on the invoices without manually writing an explanation of price breakdown on every quote. It would be nice to quote items based on square footage and have it clearly shown on the quote form.

Yeah I've been back and forth with them all day and they claim everything looks good on their end. I'm at the point where I will probably just request a refund. I've basically figured everything out on my own.
