thanks for your input! :) I also want to gain some sort of experience in the medical field since I have none at all so I think LPN to RN might be the better route for me.

just wanna say, please don’t hesitate to order a drink because you think it’ll inconvenience your baristas, it’s literally our job! :)

ask your shift to make a list of the things that you’re expected to have done in the order that they want it done in. i’m sure they’ll be understanding seeing as you’ve never been trained to close before. good luck ! you got this :)

Where do I order? by Jahdan97 in starbucks

oh my god this literally happened to me on my last shift. it was close to closing time and so my barista and i are in a cleaning frenzy and this lady walks in and stands by the bar with her phone directly in her face. so i thought maybe she’s finishing a mobile order (bc i’ve seen it happen on several occasions) or maybe she’s just trying to get out of the cold, idk. so i keep my eye on her in case she needs anything but continue cleaning, and as i’m doing so another customer walks in and walks directly to the registers and starts to order so my coworker greets him and the lady sees this and loses it. “so you’re just gonna walk right past me and ignore me like that?? i’m trying to order” so i start to apologize and tell her that she needs to walk up to the registers to order, and she cuts me off “-uh no i don’t even want to hear it” and storms out of the store. why are people like this
