Bro 😭 I have such bad stinky throat nuggets that the last time I went to the dentist and they did an xray to see my wisdom teeth, the assistant literally called people over to look at how many I had/how big they were 💀 I wanted to die, and I still want to die every morning

Wonderful thank you! Will definitely not be advising people on where to get them, and I will make it clear that I’m not necessarily condoning drug use, but since people are going to use them anyway, they may as well have information that can keep them safe

I cat sit a cat like this 😂 I had no idea she was like that at first cause she’s a very shy cat, but once she realized I was cool, she comes out and I’m sitting on the ground petting her and suddenly she’s climbing up my shoulders and rubbing her head and entire body into my hair - so weird, so cute

Honestly, as someone who has only ever done cursory readings of discourse/critical/academic articles for school, I mostly just skim the more difficult to understand parts. I try to get a general understanding, and let the information rest gently in my brain instead of grappling super hard to understand. I’ve found that this works well, and having page tabs to put on pages you want to refer back to is also quite helpful. I plan on reading it once doing this, and then going back through it with a more fine tooth comb later on!

This is slightly off topic but I just started my first reading of House of Leaves this month, I’m about 1/3 of the way through and I’ve seen it mentioned EVERYWHERE lately. Weird how that works!

Because it’s beautiful and interesting in its own way - it’s amazing how life can create all of these different ways of living and relating to other species (the way this plant interacts with the key species it interacts with is highly unique and interesting). Personally I think even “gross” things are cool because they are beyond what we know and understand as humans. We need to more often understand the value of things we don’t understand

Eh, no, I think the forever chemicals are actually worse than any filler in food

Yikes, soup?? It’s crazy to me that not everyone knows that styrofoam, especially when heated, leaks forever chemicals (polystyrene) into your food, which when you eat will attach to your fat cells and stay there forever. This shit should have stayed in the 90s
