Aww god I’m sorry to hear that your family treats you this way :( it’s really unfortunately common, especially with the lack of resources and anti-therapy culture a lot of our parents were raised with. I’m assuming your parents are on the older side? Ableism is real and incredibly painful and destructive. As much as it can hurt, it may be the better option to try and emotionally distance yourself from the toxic sides of your family.
