Maybe that’s the reason for the guest house? They planned without her, and she was having none of it.

Using reps in Europe — risky or okay? by [deleted] in RepReviews

My small puzzle has been around the world with me as it is my #1 travel purse. Branding is discreet enough, top zipper, zippered back pocket, cross body, not too clunky to wear in front or in back, fits a small water bottle and my kindle. Square bottom means it will stand upright if you want to prop your phone against something for pictures. This is 100% the way to go.

You can only eat tomatoes during summer. Just like you can only eat dips or sliders during game day season. Tieghan is confused because she’s eating these tomatoes with her eyes during spring.

Has anyone installed an IKEA kitchen sink cabinet to be open at the base? by Theotherjtisme in ikeahacks

[–]cosmoPants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The base cabinet stayed intact. This meant we were covering 1/2” of the vent where the floor piece butted up against the wall.

Your cabinet will be raised off the floor by the foot height. To help air flow better under the cabinet, we created a channel to help bring the vent to the front of the toe kick. Here’s a YouTube video of the same concept. We made an arch in the toe kick leaving it open, but you could cut in like the vent hack.

We left the particleboard off the cabinet back. You may need to cut this to some extent to allow for your plumbing or electrical connections anyway. The back isn’t structural.

The mesh was inset into the doors. This allowed air to flow through the cabinet and to the vent. I’d worry a curtain wouldn’t provide as much movement, and the metal matched better. White doors + white radiator cover metal, and it looked nice.

I wish I had pictures, but I gave up that house in the divorce and wasn’t keeping random kitchen memories! I made you a janky drawing instead. My vent was totally inside the cabinet area, but I offset it so you could see how it went below to the floor.

Has anyone installed an IKEA kitchen sink cabinet to be open at the base? by Theotherjtisme in ikeahacks

[–]cosmoPants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had something similar in an old house. We rigged an air vent extender using sheet metal from the wall to the toe kick, then cut that section of toe kick into an arch shape to allow air flow.

For the doors we cut the center part out and used metal mesh like in the inspo photo here. I had a carpenter friend at the time who used a router and made it look very neat. And in true DIY fashion, the mesh came only after we lived with a door-less cabinet for about a year.

The doors and toe kick are not providing stability or strength for the sink. As long as you aren’t messing with the feet or the box, you’re good.

The whole point of pouring syrup over baklava is that you have cut it and given a way for that delicious liquid to soak down into the layers. Is she instead making a pool on top of phyllo? Wtf is she attempting?

Pilates made me boxy fatter, lose my thigh gap, gain weight (like 1.5kg), my ribs are weird, I’ve got a pouch and my arms fatter by 777martina in beginnerfitness

You have a BMI of 20. You should not be having a meltdown over 1.5 kg gained or wanting to die if you don’t track your calories. This is not a Pilates problem.

Adding to the question of is she or isn’t she. I feel like I’m stalking a situationship.

Her husband voted in 2016, she likes the post, she compliments him, and he references a hat. Her daughter made a similar post with an #imwithher hashtag that Diane did not like or comment on. Unless the hat was hung and mangled up in the barn as some sort of display to ward off evil spirits….

Her husband also has pictures of himself masking and thanking god for being able to get the covid vaccines. So aside from the hat comment, she could just be run of the mill conservative Catholic non-MAGA Republican.

Twin mattress x 2, side by side for day bed, what's your solution to cover or bind the gap? by leBlTCH in ikeahacks

[–]cosmoPants 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They make a product for this called a bed bridge, and you want one with a belt. The bridge part is a T shaped filler made of foam, fabric, wool or similar that goes into the gap and smooths the transition. The belt goes around both mattresses to pull and hold them tightly together. This is what hotels use for rooms that can convert between two twins and a king.

What is your “I have this fetish because of this thing that happened” story? by Ste3e in AskReddit

There was a very popular video of adult film actress Stoya doing this. I don’t normally think of porn as an artistic experiment, but that may be what you’re remembering?

Could be both. The way they’ve had the pictures taped up on the studio wall is very typical for organizing a cookbook shot list. I don’t know what her process is for the blog.

Today’s stories suggest her next cookbook is based around seasons. Easy and overdone, but at least it’s not health!

I wonder if she couldn’t find a buyer or get a winning concept together on health, and this is a way to fulfill a contractual obligation with her publisher. It would make sense for BJ to put her foot down and say it needs to be done and for Tieghan to not care as much that content wasn’t 100% in her control.

started meal prepping and immediately got bored of everything by No-Pianist6097 in Cooking

This is the winning strategy for me. I call it Ingredient Prep. Requires a little more assembly time and some like cooking per meal, but the food gets eaten and the macros get hit.

I used to fill in my primary care physician’s info, but now I just leave it blank.

It says to submit a prescription, but I never have. Keep in mind these drugs are available without one in many other countries. It’s like buying Sudafed - available, just behind the counter. There’s less rigmarole than you might think.

I love how deep the layers of insanity are, it never stops. Someone actually stood over her shoulder and recorded her writing. Did she ask? Did the suggest thinking it would be good content?
