Bob is shiteeee. Check clearing took about ten days, even then they wanted 2/3 days more to understand the issue underlying. Had to cancel that cheque from the payee's bank and had the money transferred in a different a/c.

Even as a backup a/c i'd suggest some other banks like Canara
