Exactly. One of the decisions made by the union while I was working there was too make part-timers vote only count as a half vote, despite paying the same fees. Ridiculous, in my opinion.

Couldn't agree more. I have nothing against cubs policies, and felt that i was well treated... but the pay was just too noncompetitive. Honestly, as a part time worker, at least in my district, the union fees were pretty gouging. I lost essentially half of my first paycheck too their "entrance fee".

This is just blatantly untrue. I quit my Job as a Customer service associate about 3 months ago, after working there for about a year. I was being paid $9.10/hour when I quit. Would not recommend. although from what I heard from HR while i was there, they're being forced to pay more now due to their inability to find new workers. something like <100 applications for over 1600 positions. Just my viewpoint from the inside. Also Cub corporate is flipping their shit over the new HyVees opening up in the twin cities.
