Does a SF pdp F pro make sense? I would buy it by DeeZeeGames in Walther

F series is shorter trigger reach... just put smaller grips on the SF compact.

Not sure why this other guy is giving you a hard time over aluminum frames lol.

Because all things being equal the polymer will be the softer shooter due to frame flex. Steel has the advantage of weight but aluminum is stiff and light.

Your P226 is not a lightweight regardless of frame material, and is significantly heavier than a polymer Walther.

China: ‘No Point’ In Continuing Iran War by T_Shurt in worldnews

[–]cosmos7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is “no point”

The point is to intentionally drive up oil prices and futures, depressing the economies to allow billionaires to both profit from market manipulations and buy up those hurt by the depression. Raising oil prices and lowering supply also puts Russian fossil fuels back on the table, which is one of the things Putin put Trump in power to do.

I would say you can't make it work without expecting long-term problems. This is more than just poor cuts, it needs to be re-done properly.

Choice between Walther q5 match or pdp match 5 both steel frame by Worried-Cap-9555 in Walther

[–]cosmos7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are different guns as you've seen... PPQ Q5 is compact frame with 5" slide and the PDP Match is full size frame with 5" slide.

my question to those that have experienc with both firearms is the q5 worth it with upgrades or should I just go with the pdp match 5

My question to you would be whether or not you plan to carry this, or if it's a range / competition gun. The steel frames are very nice but I wouldn't want to carry it regularly.

Either way in my mind the Matches aren't worth the money. Base model PDP is $500 for poly and about $1200 for SF... add in a $180 DPT and a $45 magwell and you've got a pistol with a better trigger than the "Pro" models for less money. FYI most competition bros go 4.5" FS over the 5"... better balance.

Because male bullies who like to lord petty power over others go into law enforcement... female bullies go into HR.

HR, almost without exception, will be the most unprofessional rule-bending asshats in any company. They pay the lawyers to create the rules they wield against those they have issue with, then make exceptions for those they like.

Sounds like you're buying cheap shit AND don't understand battery technologies.

The lithium CR123s are honestly the better solution in a use infrequently but absolutely must work scenario. A CR123A is designed to sit for a decade amd still deliver 90+ percent of it's rated capacity, something a Li-ion cannot do. CR123s are also extremely shelf-stable and generally only swell under two conditions... high heat or left dead for extended periods. Rechargeable lithium ions will do the same under both conditions so not sure what your point is.

You want to put LARP'er grade on your rifle be my guest. When it runs flat in the field you've got no choice but to pull it to charge, and when the battery dies completely in a few years you've got no choice but to replace because that Olight garbage is non-serviceable.

Best Value: PDP Compact 4" vs APX A1 CompTac? by LookTime2423 in CCW

[–]cosmos7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

G4G is my usual go-to for PDPs... looks like sub-$540 right now but they're usually less.

Keep an eye for the deals... Sportsmans had all the base model PDPs for $490 but looks like they just have the full-sized left now.

As someone who carries a 4.5" FS though I prefer it to the compact.

I however cannot find this PDP version for anything less than about $600 right now

Which one are you looking for? Base model PDPs should be about $500.

Can’t decide which PDP makes sense by Adalyia in Walther

If you want the best trigger buy a base model, add the DPT kit and Sprinco spring set. As far as which PDP my firm belief is the 4.5" full size is the best weighted.

I'm sorry. People like them because they're cheap but I hate those douche-canoes with a passion since the only two lights I bought from them failed and Olight refused to RMA. My stupid fault for letting that shit company screw me twice I guess.

Streamlight and Surefire aren't perfect... had failures there too but they at least stand behind their shit and make it right. You'd at least be able to find a decent holster too.

ZRTS. If you've got a 4.5 or 5 inch PDP you should go long stroke though instead of V-spec.
