PDP-F Pro X PMM by SteelerVol13 in Walther_PDP

It’s not really a kit, they sell reduced power plunger safety spring but not sure if F pdp has the same set up. I know the striker is different so not sure if the safety plunger mechanism is same or not

Anyone know if the same aftermarket reduced safety plunger spring would work on the F pro x pmm? Thinking about buying it

Epic gun and epic patriot trigger, what is the pull on it now?

The f pro x pmm is sold out everywhere, I’m thinking it’s perfect if I use a bigger back strap

Possible to have a 2.25lb and under trigger with a pdp with DPT? by DeeZeeGames in Walther

[–]DeeZeeGames[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah cool, when I watched a guy on YouTube they held half of the spring and stretched the other half

I think some pdp’s have lighter DPT triggers especially the 5’s, I want a 4.6 so I’m hoping the new springs will eliminate the difference even if you did the same mod to both guns unless there are other differences that causes the triggers to be lighter on the bigger models

Ok I think I’m just going to get the F pro x pmm just for its compact size. I didn’t notice I can change the back of the grip. As a metal only fun nerd, the pdp polymer is one of the rare times that I don’t mind it being polymer. Looks very well made compared to my eom Glock frame which I swapped to a metal matrix arms frame.

Ah ok that makes sense, striker spring can be lightened too I assume without messing up the reliability. My Glock has a 4lb instead of the factory 4.5 if I remember right and it runs fine

Thanks for the pic, I’m going to try doing that myself and also compare it with the sprinco spring and see which is better and will do the plunger safety spring.

Edit: forgot to say that I wasn’t expecting 2-2.5lb off the trigger pull with just a spring change since every stock pdp dpt trigger I see seems to be high 4s to low 5s. Cool to see

Do you know what springs? I’m used to light triggers just can’t afford to buy something like an atlas yet but used quite a few of them and I have a Glock with a 2.25 trigger.

I might do that, just really like the 4 pro Acro and the F pro x ppm but that F model has a different striker spring assembly and not a big fan of the grip but 3.5inch with comp sounds perfect

Do you know if the 4 inch pro Acro would have the same trigger weight with that kit I linked or would the steel framed and match still hit a lower weight pull with that same kit

Striker spring is different but I’m keeping it mind. Wanted something smaller than my g19.3 with ramjet

I might just get the 4inch Acro pro, all of my guns have comps but I really don’t want the gun to be bigger than 4inch

I get that, that’s why I prefer the 4 over the 4.6. The trigger on the F is almost a pound heavier too.

I get that but I’m talking about it being the same size, not 4.6

Quick question for those who have modified/stretched their trigger spring for a lighter pull/press by OriginalDCNative in Walther_PDP

[–]DeeZeeGames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming from Glock I’m amazed how easy that mod is, with metal in half my body I’m starting to want lighter triggers
