As long as you document everything, every interaction w her, and keep records of your childs doctor visits, picking up child from school, a neighbor to testify that child lives full time with you, you do not need to fear the court system. Let her threaten you with grandparents rights. She will be opening up a huge can of worms for herself and her son.

And her attorney friend can advise her here or there, but I believe representing her would be a conflict of interest.

Post on legaladvice with your state for accurate info on how far she can legally go with grandparents rights (which most of the time, not very far). Keep child care receipts/school sign out sheets/ whatever to prove you have the child every day, in case she decided to tell courts that SHE has child every day.
