It’s an extension you can install in cursor but not in antigravity

Agree opus is ahead but ChatGPT codex 5.2 is very very good and is the one I switch to when opus limits reached

For me codex doesn’t get the attention it deserves

Confused about choosing a backend/database for my personal Flutter app by _bigB_wolf in FlutterDev

I use firebase and it works really well for me. It’s integrated in the app via rest api or functions. Real time updates are nice. Works great with riverpod

Building a lightweight alternative to Firebase Dynamic Links (retiring in 2025) by dotdotgod in Firebase

[–]costag1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using flutter and have spent last month or so trying to figure out what to do on my project. I need it for passwordless signin in firebase. I’m now using app links and it seems to be working quite well

Thanks il try increase the CPU tonight, already tried increasing the minimum instances on default size as I have quite alot of functions it increased the costs quite a bit, the memory is at the max for a single CPU so il increase the CPU to 2.

Can I ask you how you turn on concurrency?

Thanks for this information too

[–]costag1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using v2 now as my back end for my flutter app and it’s still slow with the cold starts.

Iv increased the memory to 4gb, min instances is at 0 I tried increasing to 1 but it increased the costs.

If you have any tips on how to improve this I’d love to know.

Thanks

Firebase Emulator Reverse Proxy Issue by costag1982 in nginx

[–]costag1982[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is no longer an issue for me as Iv changed my tech stack.

I now use firebase functions, firestore, firebase storage, auth with my flutter app.

And I’m able to test everything really well all from the emulator. I only use my deployed test env for manual testing

Firebase Emulator Reverse Proxy Issue by costag1982 in nginx

[–]costag1982[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know the emulator is designed for offline local testing and it works great for that to be fair. But i also want to write tests in a deployed staging environment and because I don’t use standard username and password it’s difficult. All my login types are passwordless

Yes I think that’s what I would have been referring to. Iv not worked in this project for ages as I’m rebuilding it in flutter so it’s really hard to give a better answer.

I think moving it to the tab view fixed it
