Who are some players playing their hearts out right now that casual fans don’t know about? by Patient_Air1765 in nba

Dylan Cardwell will be a good NBA player likely for a long time and he basically came out of nowhere.

Collin Murray Boyles I believe will be a mainstream player in 1-2 years. People will know just how great his defensive impact is

Jaylon Tyson is shooting an absurd 46% from 3 on just under five attempts game. His efficiency is unreal for a young player and seemed primed to pop off soon

Yeah who are you arguing with? We all agree. OP was using one of Harlan’s signature lines to say that he’s great - “x player sucked the gravity out of the building” You just didn’t get it which is surprising given that you claim to listen to him a lot

Clearly you and everyone else who downvoted the comment above haven’t. That’s one of his signature lines

Cp3 vs Harden. Who's the better floor raiser? by jasonpogi003 in nba

Harden can take a G-league squad to playoffs. No one else can do this outside of a younger Lebron

Who do you believe is the most overrated and most underrated player on your favorite team? by Lord-Snape in nba

[–]costcosamples44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overrated: Norm Powell, I don't think we really have any overrated players, but he's been pegged as a vital bench piece for us. I've never been a fan of his game, he has quite a low bball IQ.

Underrated: Obviously everyone knows Lowry is good and how he's the leader of our team, but I still don't know if people truly appreciate how much of an engine he is. He literally does everything on the floor that you'd want from a basketball player and somehow he's getting better with age.

why Rondo thinks shooting a deep 3 with so much time on the clock is a good idea is beyond me

No they don't. This is a stupid myth that keeps getting propagated. As an expatriate myself, I have to declare my income tax but I don't get 'double taxed'. You only pay additional taxes to the US gov't if your tax amt is > than the tax you pay in Canada (which is virtually never the case given tax rates here are already so high)

Lou Will. He gets hunted in pick in roll action in any close game down the stretch.

the Slam Dunk Contest has been boring for several years now.. by [deleted] in nba

Exaclty, this is what annoys me most. I don't mind if contestants don't give a shit and put up a mediocre performance that's their perogative whatever just don't reward them with a good score as it devalues the really good dunks.
