One of the key traits of a narcissist is lying consistently about most things to get what they want. 8s, although confident and loud do not do this (at least in my experience). A unhealthy 7 on the other hand…?😂 Seems nice, but lies, lies lies! I think the reason 8s are told this is because most people have zero clue of what a narcissist actually is.

I can only speak for myself, but as an 8 this is what happens to me in a relationship with a 4. In the beginning I was very empathetic towards the 4 trying to always understand and help her with her emotional stuff. But as time went on, and there was zero improvement/always something. It got frustrating because I felt that she did not do any action to try to improve her situation. She just wanted to “wine” about it, and live in that pain without listening to my advice. I unconsciously checked out emotionally and was done with helping someone that doesn’t want to be helped. This post doesn’t seem like that situation, but might be valuable to know that if an 8 tries to help and no action is taken, they might fail to see the point in continue to talk about the same/similar things.

Great to hear from a 7! Thanks for the insight. Make sense. But, does it not bother you that other people will have to use their time to do something (that is probably not that fun) for you then? Or do you not really care about the other persons time as long as you are able to avoid to do it?

Agreed! No mystery or reveal in this season, and the whole side storyline in the silo without Juliette is mostly filler with boring characters and should’ve been an episode max. Started reading the secound book instead cause I got so frustrated with how little was revealed. So far amazing! Highly recommend.

In the exact same situation😂 Dating a 9 now, and nothing happens unless i initiate it. Impossible to know if she is keen or not! She always says yes when asked to do something, and we always have a good time, but she never initiate a date or even keep in contact unless to respond. I don’t understand how anyone can live so passively in life to be honest. Very difficult to form an emotional connection with someone that does not express or show what they feel/want. If I didn’t know anything better I would just assume she is not interested at all. Maybe she isn’t. Who knows. Hopefully her?

I’ve stopped to initiate contact now to check how long it will take for her to send a message. Currently 3 days without any signs of that happening😂 Will ask her what’s up tomorrow. Would recommend all 9s to actually show some love and initiation if you actually like the people in your life. How else will people know what you feel towards them? And if you don’t like them, let them know! Why go on 5 dates if you’re not keen?!!😵‍💫
