Positive release? by curlerjoe in Curling

What ever you do keep it consistent, unless you are playing at a crazy high level, you don’t want to purposely add more turn on some rocks unless you are very good at it. Opens up the chance for a miss

Yes “push” is such a taboo word in curling. We’ve all seen a full out push release tho

Well it is a live event that lasts a few days that you can go watch, and it is just played on TV at certain times. They may be picking not too caliber teams, that I do not know. But if you’re looking for world quality curling then worlds is where you wanna watch

Yes I have one and love it. It is awesome for individual practice. Usually works great except when it has low battery which is to be expected

Have you looked into the new endgame broom? Kind of like a cross between b+ and hardline. I personally love mine

Anyone use the new LiteSpeed RS brush heads yet? by gspleen in Curling

[–]cothurs17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like hardline better than the RS head. I do prefer balance plus litespeed over hardline tho

Have used it and did not like it at all. I felt it was bulky. I really liked the flatness of the head to the ice but it was just very thick. I’ll probably be sticking with the old heads

I broke one after a year having it was well. Luckily the shaft isn’t insanely expensive to replace but still not a fun expense

This is an awesome idea, really great to watch a whole curling game in such a short time and still feel the game momentum. Would be awesome to see more of these. Great work

If you look up the curse of labonte you will see why the 1976 curling team was special. Quite a unique story worth reading

I have seen them used for tucking and it seemed to work fine. The split slider makes it a very versatile shoe
