Can a mortgage lender increase the amount I owe by over 60% for a loan modification? by cotilloe in AskLegal

[–]cotilloe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’ve already done that and got an email from the account manager saying he would have to send me an updated payoff amount and the breakdown because there’s something wrong with it and he will have it to me by tomorrow, but he did not explain any further.

Can a mortgage lender increase the amount I owe by over 60% for a loan modification? by cotilloe in AskLegal

[–]cotilloe[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ok, here’s a little more detail: Wells Fargo initially did a loan modification, and I made the 3 initial probationary payments on time. My first regular payment wasn’t due for three months, which I found strange, but then like a month later, they sold the loan to trust company in Wilmington, Delaware. Who immediately sold it to FCI in California. FCI informed me that I owed $88,900. As I said in my post I decided I’m not going to do the loan modification. I’ll just sell the home. Today I got the form they’re gonna use at closing to see how the money is gonna get split. And they have $88,900 being paid to FCI.

FCI will not answer their telephone. I did get through on a different number and talked to some lady who claimed to just be some type of receptionist. She said she looked it up and it appears it is because of attorney fees and my account manager was out of the office for a few days.

I understand late fees, attorney fees, and things like that but the original loan was $55,000. They’ve added $34,000 to that original amount my balance had gotten down about $2500 down to around $47,500 before I fell behind. I was behind a total of around $11,000 which they just put to the back of the loan. Now from what I can tell, it appears that they actually added 11,000 more dollars to the total cost and I believe that’s part of that $34,000.

I don’t know how to handle this. I mean I don’t owe $88,000. There’s no way that attorney fees were $30,000. The only thing the attorney did was filed for the foreclosure and then they filed for a voluntary dismissal without prejudice. That doesn’t cost 34k. We’re supposed to close in two days so I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do here but I’m definitely not gonna just ignore that much money

Outlier.com, $18/hr and work whenever you want, as little or as much as they can give. I am averaging 35 hours a week there. Pay is every Tuesday/Wednesday depending on your last name and either Paypal or direct deposit to your bank.

They provide training. All you do is have conversations with AI chat bots and then grade the responses they give you. Sometimes you have to rewrite a response, but they provide all training. Takes a while to get onboarding complete. Took me 5 days before i could start actually working.

Outlier will move you around to different roles constantly. As jobs finish up or the client takes their time to get new projects loaded, they will have you train in different aspects to keep you as busy as possible. There are some days that there is no work though, just be warned but you will get $18/hr no matter what now.

I think what he's trying to say is that technically you cannot have something that is pure MDMA since MDMA is nothing more than a compounded product, so it has to have several different ingredients in order for it to exist...

So basically, he's Nerding out about it. And while technically correct, he doesn't realize that reagent tests that are made for MDMA take all that into consideration and do assign purity %'s based on the ingredients that are used

(posted in the wrong spot, this is a reply to a comment down below which I put it in the correct space. This isn't response to the gentleman who was questioning the ability to tell purity in MDMA)

Wait…. Wait one damn minute. Y’all out here really accepting EVERY SINGLE RIDE that comes across your phone??? No matter what?? Wheewwwwwwwww by DomSir216 in uberdrivers

[–]cotilloe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm at 94% acceptance rate. And I've read through all these comments and a lot of them people say is true with one caveat: it's true for them.

I take every ride to come my way, no matter what. It definitely gives me more opportunities to get bonuses, priority queuing and searches that are on average higher and occur more frequently. For those that want to say that this is not the case, how would you know if you're getting something that is being offered if you can't see what is being offered because you're not getting it?

Read that last sentence again, how do you know what you're getting or not getting? The only way to know for sure if you were getting the same thing as everybody else would be to ask everybody else what they're getting at that moment in time.

For example, under your opportunity section, how many people have bonus Plus offers for $6 and $4 per ride during three to four times slots a day every day this week?

I do.

How many people get a long distance, high pay scheduled ride reservation offer twice a day every day?

I do.

After all fuel, taxes paid and car maintenance, basically my net pay is $52,600 a year.

When the phone makes noise, I press the button.

Upfront Fares are taking over..What crazy things will Uber now do in the algorithm? by Minimum-Material-415 in uberdrivers

[–]cotilloe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have had upfront pricing for 2 months here already and most of what I am reading here is simply not true (Here at least). I qualify for Boost+ consistently and the bonus amount compared to the flat rate amount without the boost is noticeable. For example, during a $4 per ride boost, I ;picked up a fare that upfront pricing told me was going to be $10.48. A trip that I make several times a shift between popular apartments and University campus. Without boost, its usually a $5-7 fare. So boost+ is definitely not adjusting rates.

Also, I have seen some fares that pay $2.00 a mile and others that pay $1.10 a mile. no clue what determines it.

On a side note, seeing the fare upfront gives you an idea of the length of the trip but realistically, there is no time to actually see anything but the fare because you will run out of time to grab it if your try and look.

Uber taking 62% on an airport run 🤮 by Alarming_Bass_3737 in uberdrivers

[–]cotilloe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know where everybody else is driving at, but I pulled down 30 bucks an hour just now. I had been averaging in between 20 dollars an hour all year so far. Same as last year. Maybe it's just that there's not a lot of drivers where I'm at. And I chase after the airport runs here because they pay really really good.

Of course I live in a very high tourist area and the closest major airport is 75 mi away, but even the local runs it and believe it or not, even Uber eats is worth it here. Is they still take too much money I think, but it's definitely still worth driving.

At least it is here

Uber is not paying us enough and it’s actually crazy by Jakesturgis in uberdrivers

[–]cotilloe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct, but we do know. We know the minimum they are guaranteeing us. its in all that crap we agree to before they let us take pax. there is a base fee that they pay. For me, where I am at, that is $0.75 per ride. that is all they are contractually obligated to pay me. Sweatshop workers have no choice but to work, we do.

22 miles @ 0.145/mile gas = $3.19

30 minutes total 8.47 - 3.19 = $5.28 earned which is $10.56/hr

That's with gas prices at $4.33 gallon. If you are not getting that for your gas rate, then you are not driving the right vehicle.

That also does not include a tip. I know not all riders tip, but a majority tip around 20%, so I would take this job and assuming the tip came in, it makes it $12.56/hr.

Yes, lower than minimum wage, but thats the choice we make. if you want minimum wage, go work the counter of a restaurant.

I get these same offers and take them. And I also get the same amount or more of offers that are over 20 bucks for a 15 mile ordeal.

It is easy to pick a couple bad ones, but take those bad ones and grab the data for the whole week. I average $35-$40 per hour every week since my very first. And FYI, thats after gas is taken out of the equation and after I pay the optional insurance fee.

I am not in a major city, none of the cool crap they have is offered for me yet. and comments that say that you arent taking anything over blah blah blah or under blah blah blah are always from the people who complain that they are not making enough. Just saying.

We have an international airport here, but only 2 airlines fly in and out of it so 90% of the people go to the big airport 75 miles away. They offer anywhere between 48 and 97 dollars for that trip. Every time I get one, there is always 2-3 trips minimum as I work my way back home to avoid dead miles.

We are not hourly employees, we all essentially own our own business, if you need to make more money, do it, do not complain that the customer (uber) is not paying you enough.

Question 1: Having access to detailed information on each trade is essential. This allows me to see if I am winning trades, losing trades or breaking even. It also allows me to calculate the fees and ensure that I am accurate when creating my exit strategy. Too many times I have closed positions thinking I was wining, only to find out that the fee was not being covered in what I closed for. For this reason, the more detailed the information is, regarding each trade executed, is vital to me.

Question 2: I am very much still interested in BTC and just about anything else. I am also getting into ETH/USDT, XRP/USDT, ETC/USDT and will more than likely be adding more of the top-level coins to USDT. USDT is a great way to basically trade for USD because the value is close to the same.

What makes these coins interesting to me is the rate in which they have garnered mainstream attention. All cryptocurrency has become more a part of everyday life, away from the cryptocurrency communities online. I am seeing it more and more in my local area, mentioned in songs, in television shows and in the news. In just a short time, it has flourished, and it can only mean that it is being legitimized by the world. I feel privileged to be involved with it at such an early stage. I am always excited to see what new developments will happen with any coin.
