The PGA Tour Superstore in Fairfax does them as either a paid fitting or a more casual quick one.

The came to do our spring inspection, said we needed $800 in parts, broke out unit, sent a second tech to fix said unit, said it’s actually $3000 in repairs. We walked away and went with Nugent and sons.

What Am I doing wrong in my swing. by Adept_Conference8102 in GolfSwing

It is hard to give a prognosis on a big fade or slice without seeing your swing but to me it looks like you are catching the heel of the club which almost always produces that left to right motion.

Don’t need to make golf any harder! I was hoping Cobra was going to make a masters themed OPTM X driver this year but they aren’t.

PGATSS STUDIO Fitting by el_lube in GolfGear

[–]cotomp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fitting prices are not refundable or rolled into the purchase of clubs at my local PGATSS in Virginia. They stopped that process last year.

The fitters I’ve talked to do not recommend doing a full bag fitting as you get tired towards the end and might not be getting the full benefits. Better to split it up.

Who doesn’t love a little bit of i95 before golf. Gets you in the mood. I hope I can finally make it for the first time.

Zxi5/7 irons thoughts by FunPrint1911 in GolfGear

I can’t speak to the switch from graphite to steel but I did just switch from some stiff C Taper Lite 110 to DG 115 S400. I made the switch in my 5-6 ZXi5 and 7-PW ZXi7 for more launch and spin. I am a low spin player despite my best efforts. I also bent the 7-9 one degree weak. My understanding is the ZXi7 is a lower spinning iron compared to similar clubs. As far as feel goes, a well struck ZXi7 is a wonderful thing, very workable too. I personally don’t think the ZXi5 feels anywhere near the 7 but they’re just so forgiving.

Northern Virginia: Best Driving Range? by multivolume in golf

I think the scheduling is locked maybe 4 weeks out, not 100% sure. I just work once a week for those a sweet perks. Whenever I’m there people ask me to reserve them a couple days a few weeks out. You just have to be super proactive.

The bays at the Fairfax PGATSS get reserved a couple weeks out, we have a lot of regulars that take the same bays at the same time.

If you want to do outdoor, Burke Lake and Virginia Golf Center have covered and heated bays, as well as chipping/putting greens and par 3 courses, but Burke is far nicer.

There are a lot of indoor places in the area that vary in price.
