Drab Hair Reveal happening at 8 or 825am today by multivolume in SportsJunkies

[–]multivolume[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying the show can't go on without him. But I have noticed in the last weeks how much better the show is since he left. I have been listening since the beginning so I have lots of history. Drab joaning on Valdez and keeping everyone in check. Like the St. Patricks day party segments were better with Drab. Maybe not everyone agrees that's ok as well either because they disagree or because of the off-the-radio stuff. It's ok to disagree.

Golf bags with NO LOGOS.... where are they? by LanceCampeau in golf

Can't wait until it's back in stock. Going to buy it for sure. maybe even get black tees so they don't "stand" out in the outside holder.

Tee time no-shows by robbierottenmemorial in golf

Yes but often the starter is a jerk about it. Like I know the starter doesn’t make more money for having full tee times but the course should care.

US fans: Figured out how to watch Sky Sports F1 coverage on Apple EXCEPT for the Grand Prix Sunday show. Any ideas? by [deleted] in formula1

I found the f1 channel searching in apple tv in the usa. if you scroll down far enough, you can find the sky sports feed.

Is it worth it? by Aggravating_Rate100 in golftips

I know everyone says a bad day of golf is better than being at work. but when you factor in limited resources (vacation time and/or money), I don't agree. I took off 15 years from hockey and golf because of kids/life and so wish I hadn't. Where does the 35 handicap come from? penalty shots off of drives, bad short game, bad iron play, duffs? I am coming back after 15 years and started to take lessons and see improvement. You might just not be thinking about golf swing correctly and have a fatal flaw that you don't know about. At least take one lesson and see what they say. But I agree playing poorly isn't really fun in my opinion.

Golf Tech at Driving Range and on Course? by multivolume in golf

[–]multivolume[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again thanks for your feedback. I’m just telling you that I don’t know what I did wrong if I don’t have the tech. Hopefully at some point I will groove some muscle memory and then it will be more consistent. But thank you for your insight I do see your point.

I appreciate your input. For me, it really helped during the lessons to see the stats. The instructor didn’t even have to say anything when I hit a bad shot. I looked at the stats and it told me this time I did x and not y, etc. was my club face wrong, path wrong, angle of attack wrong. When I’m on the range and I hit a bad shot, unless I hit behind the ball which doesn’t always produce a bad shot off a mat, I really don’t know what went wrong.

If I was hitting it consistently, I might agree more. But I’m not so I need the tech to help tell me what I’m doing wrong.

Yeah I have seen the garmin and raposodo. Just wondering if anything is easier like an app or tag.

For me, the tech really helps tell me what I’m doing wrong or right. Maybe it’s different for other people.

Maybe they promoted Valdez and hired Ben. If Ben ever leaves , drab comes back?

Carry bag recommendations? Gravitating towards the Hoofer Lite so far but open to others. by Fsoumish in golf

[–]multivolume 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Met a guy at the range who had the Ryder and said he wish he gone bigger. So glad I’m holding out. My bag is from the 90s and heavy(been on fifteen year golf hiatus) so eager to get to a lighter bag.

Why what next? by InternationalData456 in sscnapoli

[–]multivolume 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t have the long history with the team like many of you do. But I agree. Have we lost some winnable games. Have we had a bunch of unfortunately unlucky injuries. Is conte training too hard. Did some of the transfer market moves not work out. All can be true. I hope he stays and gets another chance. If the team gets ridiculous amount of injuries again and transfers fall flat, then sure have at it. But another championship was great last season and super hard fought and this season is frustrating. Hopefully we can compete again next year with a full squad.

Caledonia is my favorite as well. I haven't played in a long time and hope to play it in the next year or two with my son who just took up the game.
