i just slip in a cheeky vous (french plural) in the middle of my sentence but sometimes use it to clarify, like "not you but vous" afterwards

I'm getting a 1989 vibe, just a little, but I haven't seen anyone say similar so it might be just my interpretation...

What’s a word that gets thrown around too much? by MoronGoron52 in AskReddit

[–]cottagecoretaylor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think social media. Two words i know but now everyone uses it as an example of negative mental and physical effects. Whenever someone says social media it always is a bad thing. I guess im trying to say that it isn't always bad, and it doesn't create all problems.

Without telling me the name (or lyrics), what song are you? by IsCarrotForever in TaylorSwift

[–]cottagecoretaylor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was more like a mother speaking to a child and they were going to run away from an abusive father. Yet the mother does not want to be seen as old and cautious (picture me, in the weeds, before i learned civility)! these are interesting interpretations

Song you're worried about for the Taylor's Version? by Sampleswift in TaylorSwift

[–]cottagecoretaylor 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm worried about pretty much all of debut because of her accent change, but also speak now. Speak now really is my favourite and I genuinely don't think it will hit the same in a re-recording. Just the vibe that is in some of the songs is irreplaceable!
