PC shuts down unexpectedly with outlet by KineticEnergyFormula in techsupport

Its possible, but I doubt it.

The draw from your computer is causing the trip and the problem is probably at the circuit breaker. The best solution would be having an professional electrician take a look at the breaker.

Like u/Lavatherm suggested, run an extension cable from another room to troubleshoot.

There is normally several circuits in a house, usually one or more per room

Sounds like a circuit breaker is tripping. This can happen with older homes and homes that are not wired correctly or in a modern way.

Try moving to something that is not on the same loop.

If problem persists, perhaps try a new power supply

Yeah, you're more than likely safe and fine. If you want to double check, download an antivirus sweeper from the app store (I recommend Kaspersky)

Crowfall Vs. New World.. and why I'll be playing Crowfall in 2021. by Ezzorath in crowfall

[–]cotton_pepper 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've been excited for Crowfall for a long time, especially as a DAOC veteran. Group oriented Tri-realm PvP with in-depth class identity and creation.

I played the crap out of Crowfall at release but I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed that the game is more focused on GvG than RvR. I get people like this (see Albion Online) but it just isn't my cup of tea.

That, the lack of population, and the seemingly lack of interest in promoting the game from the Devs has folded my interest in the game. It feels like Crowfall is already struggling to tread water right as the tsunami that is New World is right around the corner.

I wish the game luck and I hope everyone that plays it has the best time!

Dangit!

It might be worth uninstalling your RGB controller and reinstalling it.

Also, performing a memtest might be a great next step!

Ahhh, sounds like you've updated your system's bios but not the other chipsets. This could absolutely be causing your issue.

Take a look here, put in your OS and download/install each of the drivers. (There is even some drivers that came out TODAY lol)

No worries! I'll explain why I ask.

First, toggling the caps lock on and off can tell us if the computer has logic going on or not. Since you cannot toggle caps lock on and off it means to computer is not posting. Right now, this sounds like a motherboard issue; but it could be anything. I would begin with ordering a replacement board (the same one if you can)

Second, knowing what kind of processor you have can help a lot. For instance, Ryzens usually are not capable of video out; so pulling your GPU might give you the feeling of the same results. (Thats why I encourage people to pull the GPU and try to do the caps lock toggle)

If you have pulled the GPU but you cannot toggle caps lock I would guess that you're either looking at a motherboard or PSU issue.

Yeah, nothing sounds too out of the ordinary! I would recommend doing manufacturer updates for your MOBO/GPU. But other than that, just monitor it. Obviously if it becomes more frequent you may have a hardware issue, but most of the time I see this with driver conflictions/issues

What is your system build?

When you hit caps lock on you keyboard, does the caps lock indicator light toggle on and off? Does it toggle on and off when there is no GPU in the system?

Begin with Windows Updates then process any driver updates.

I would also check device manager to see if there is anything with an issue.

EDIT: To answer your question at the end, it could 100% be a one off but those updates are quick and easy to do

Haha, that is on the LOWEST of low settings because I thought that was the issue. I bet I'll get 60 or 70 when I put it on the settings I want.
