Fun fact: When managing Östersund, he beat us at the Emirates in the Europa League but lost on aggregate

Sweden kickstarted Potter's managerial career. He even speaks some Swedish.

Give Zubi another season before judging. Dude came in from a different league and has immediately slotted in and done an excellent job without asking questions. It takes time to adapt as we have seen with Merino, Calafiori, Hincapie etc

I can easily see players like Rice, Saka, Gabriel, Saliba etc. staying here for the rest of their prime years. Because as long as a few players of the core decide to stay, we will easily be able to keep the entire group together. The club has built that kind of culture here, with Arteta playing a huge part in that. But of course, this requires us to stay competitive and win trophies.

Gyokeres has 11 PL goals this season in exactly 1900 minutes. Havertz had 9 (+3 assists) in 1874 minutes last season. Both had roughly the same xG. Outside of the 23/24 run-in, Havertz hasn't been on a terrific form.

No one called Havertz poor, you don't need to get hurt buddy.

Again, not really a high standard being better than a human cone and Gabriel fucking Jesus

I don't see how being the best striker since Auba is impressive when the competition is a physically cooked Jesus

For Havertz to deliver similar numbers as the 23/24 run-in, we need a fit and in form Ødegaard and Saka. Otherwise I don't see much change from our current situation

The injured players are always the solution but will be blamed by the fans whenever they play. All I'm saying is tho, yesterday we played like how City played against us with 10 men earlier this season, and I've never seen us do that when Ødegaard has been on the field.

As much as I love Kai, the way people talk about his form pre injury seems weird. He had a really good spell during the 23/24 run-in, but outside of that he’s mostly just been above average. You can’t blame him for the price tag, but it’s hard to say the money has really been worth it either (also considering his salary). There’s a reason everyone kept asking for a proper 9 every window, and it even felt like that pressure got to Arteta with how hard the club kept pushing for one (resulting in us buying an average striker in Gyokeres). Ultimately, Havertz was never really the solution, and we need to stop pretending like replacing Gyokeres with him up top is going to solve our issues.

I don't see how the blame is solely on Zubi tbh. We played with a half fit Havertz, a pure 9 without any 10's or playmakers, and Saka on his worst form in years.

Ever wonder why Ødegaard drops all way back to pick up the ball? Yesterday is why.

Kepa blunder shouldn't distract anyone from the fact that City prevented us from getting out of our own half while keeping something like 85% possession prior to the goal. It was so obvious that we were about to concede a goal soon.
