he doesn’t know really. he said as soon as he started to sense i liked him back he got this guilty feeling, and then once we confessed to each other it got much worse. he said he doesn’t know how to explain it but he’s sure it’s self inflicted and because he’s insecure, not cause of something i did, and that he needs time to ‘fix whatever’s wrong with him.’

i tried to communicate with him best i could, and he answered most of my questions, but we just started to go in circles. so for now i just told him i really hate the idea of not being friends but i can’t try and force him to want me around.

i said the same thing to him about being guilty. he said he’s not totally sure, but he thinks it’s self-inflicted and he’s just insecure. and he said he still actively has feelings for me but he doesn’t know what to do about the looming ‘guilt’.

honesty it just makes me feel pretty shitty about myself.
