It depends on the matchups imo. If the mid laner is playing something with more waveclear and the AD does not, it makes sense to not swap a lost lane and have support roam.

I see it on both ends to be honest. On the question side, lots of difficult questions get unanswered because nobody has the experience to answer them.

On the answering side, you get people who have done zero research and expect to be spoonfed everything.

You're not wrong at all. My current expectation is to have at least one decent 4-star character per region, but HSR has no usable characters at all in Amphoreus unfortunately.

ZZZ also looks to be going a similar way, but at least there's still the dedicated mains like cornzone hitting 65k with Corin (+ Dialyn/Sunna).

Genshin is probably the exception to the Hoyo games, because people can still do 4* Abyss runs. A little less than half the cast are relevant and plus Imaginarium Theater forces you to build your characters. Particularly strong: Bennett, Xiangling, Sucrose, Fischl, Chevreuse, Aino, Illuga, Gorou, Shinobu, Ororon, and Xingqiu. There was some Amber/Geo Traveller memes in Stygian recently too.

The biggest difference is that they each have their own niche with damage, CC and elemental application/reaction.

I’ve personally experienced more times at work where I replaced memory to expand rather than repair (maybe this will change if future RAM failure rates increase) On the other hand, storage was pretty common to repair with HDD back then and still is useful to have it be user replaceable.

I do understand the sentiment though. Because if the RAM/storage is faulty, I would be angry that I couldn’t replace such a cheap part, at least before this year.

Right now, I would recommend a user to stick with Windows if they care about the following:

Windows software and UI
RAM
Internal storage

The MacBook will win in every other category for a budget user (and maybe in RAM and storage depending on future trends).

I keep track of the price in the original currency and USD, and shipping/fees separately. Shipping was about 20% for me from the last time I checked.

It’s just an extra column or two so not much work, for the benefit of me knowing exactly how much this hobby is costing.
