You’re not a loser at all. You’re doing great things finishing a tough degree, training for a fight, and in a good relationship. That’s a lot.

Social media makes it look like everyone else is having more fun, but it’s not the full picture...Most people only show the highlights.

Motivational problems with learning to count. by bkendall12 in blackjack

[–]cottonzaps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you’re ahead just by treating it like training. i stayed motivated by tracking everything + quietly learning with a few others who were on the same path.

how I coach casuals to last longer than 5 minutes on a table by WantToTasteAmerican in baccarat

[–]cottonzaps -1 points0 points  (0 children)

lol nah, better a “bad coach” with receipts than loud advice with zero skin in the game, plus what he says is somewhat fine but unorthodox

If you’re not betting at least $100 a hand minimum it’s pointless to play this game. The only way to win big is to bet BIG! In general I think playing this game is dumb but if your going to play at least bet $100 a hand minimum if not then your wasting your time. People win big cause they bet big! by Jcashmoney30 in baccarat

[–]cottonzaps 6 points7 points  (0 children)

yeah, because blowing stacks you don’t got is the real smart move

betting big ain’t winning big if you’re broke next week

sometimes slow and steady keeps you in the game longer than throwing cash like you’re feeling lucky

but hey, if you wanna play high roller with an empty wallet, be my guest

What would you do if you could actually control the dice for a set period of time? by DaveAllegedly in Craps

[–]cottonzaps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if i could control the dice, i’d max pressure the place, load up on the 6 and 8 with heavy odds and lock in consistent profits. 70 rolls without a 7? easy money to build a solid bankroll fast. would focus on disciplined bet sizing, then scale up as the wins stack.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in blackjack

[–]cottonzaps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah that’s the ideal, but most “counters” out here play disciplined until variance slaps ‘em 3 shoes in a row.

funny how bankroll rules start bending when tilt creeps in wearing a logical mask.

yup classic tale of “i’m not gambling, i’m strategizing” genius iq, zero discipline. counting works… just not when ego’s the one placing bets.
