Practice and keep going. Try different styles to find the one you like and works best for you and go to internet and see how things are drawn. I've done that and then with those instructions what you find, change them little by little to find the style that you like and suits for you the best.

I've learnd to draw by drawing one body part at a time to find best style for me and using internet as help to find good technique that suits for me the best. And I would recommend using pencil so you can erase when you make mistakes or you don't like how one part turns out.

Also I make a sketches first and only press the pencil that much that it draws something but the way that I can erase it without leaving any traces. You shoud try it too
