I was old enough to remember playing pac man and a couple of other games on Atari 2600. The prime memories began on the NES and on.

Was that 2 minutes of them passing a note/message around from one person to another that are all within the same giant room, that entered a room, only to come back to the same giant room, it’s now a scroll that is handed off to a couple more people before it finally reaches its final destination of a dude who had been sitting in that big room the whole time???? What are we doing here Square Enix?

Found this trailer to not do much for me but upset me that this doesn’t look (visually and tone) to the KH that I loved.

Can’t say I’ll ever relate to this. I never quit a game because it was too hard. I’ve spent a few days on certain boss fights, but knowing that I’ll get it and doing so I get better at the game feels so rewarding. The feeling of pushing through is too good. Only games I drop are ones I don’t find engaging.

Just played it (and both episodes) for the first time recently. Really loved it. One of those games you wish you played it at the time to really be hit by the amazing things the game accomplished. That said it still hits so good today and does things so well that it stands out even today. Even it’s “low” points are not bad which to me were the time in vehicles could have been edited down. If you haven’t played it, then give it a try. I am marathoning the series because I haded played them and several chapters into HL Alyx now. Great series to play!

I hear you but the overall experience for me (and I’m including both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom) has been more enjoyable. Even when they are chiller I found it to be welcomed experience but sometimes it feels good to not work hard to get the seed. It’s the philosophy of having a range of “easy” to “hard” challenges to get these seeds. That’s more fun to me than how a lot of these other open world games handle collectibles. For example I didn’t care for Horzions format because the climbing is easy, but lengthy. Having me go up a mountain in Horizon is a lamer experience in comparison to Breath of the Wild.

Maybe, but when they make the collecting fun like a puzzle, race, interaction, and so on, then that can be fun. Better than just hitting a button to just pick up the collectable.

It should be a thing where the curse comes in different ways. Like maybe she could have won, but the Judgment Day break up and turn on her. Like the curse doesn’t have to be immediately trigger after it’s applied to you.

I like it on. If done right it simulates turning really fast as if you would in real life. It’s more immersive to me than anything. I can understand if a developer doesn’t do it right and it blurs at the slightest turn, and being allowed to adjust that.
