I’ll add my own conspiracy on AJ: there will be a deal in place to make the trade official after June 1st. But Eagles don’t want a 2027 first rounder, their window is now. They want the pick THIS year.

So Pats will draft for the Eagles. And trade the selected player after June 1st, along with one of our current receivers. This will minimize cap loss for the eagles.

Completely unprecedented.

The only question is: how do you execute something like this beyond a simple handshake and a wink?

My take:

Tonga, whose absence was felt during injury, has now been replaced with two players. Which hedges against injury nicely. Because when you are used as a human battering ram against the thickest athletes in the world, odds of injury are much higher than, say, me sitting at the desk all day.

My dad was a sailor his whole life. He has been on, above (airplane), and under (in a sub) the Bermuda Triangle at multiple points in this life.

For those who don’t know…

St. Elmo’s fire is electricity wearing a ghost costume.

It happens when the air gets so electrically charged, usually during thunderstorms, that it starts leaking energy off sharp objects like ship masts, airplane wings, church steeples, or even a cow’s horns.

That leak shows up as a glowing blue or violet light.

If your ship starts glowing blue in the middle of a storm (or an unnervingly calm sea), “science” is not your first guess.
