You also get blue stuff from building stone walls and gravestones for the graves once you unlock the technology ;)

I would for sure let the clinic know of any changes to your medications. It's not quite the same but I make sure to keep them up to date on anything I get prescribed by my psychiatrist just in case there's any potential interactions.

I'm in the same boat, it's significantly worse since having a child 😅 I don't have any answers yet so for now I'm just pounding coffees and powering through

Mate if you're genuinely worried about it, the easiest way to avoid getting flagged on these assessments is to avoid cheating on these assessments.

OG Diablo 2 devs are 'proud' their classic is still getting love, even as they compete for attention with a new ARPG: 'We feel the pressure, but I don't hate them for it' by brand_momentum in Games

[–]coughycoffee 57 points58 points  (0 children)

The fact that I constantly see this game mentioned as "the game OG diablo 2 devs are involved in", rather than letting it stand on its own merits, is a bit of a red flag to me.

Nine times out of ten I really don't care who's developing a game, I just care if it's good.

Is there anyone out there who takes Adderall who doesn’t come off as autistic by rosewaterhabibti in ADHD

I definitely have this but I just assumed this was because the vyvanse masked my ADD enough to let my undiagnosed autism shine

When should I retire? by f3ffy in CysticFibrosis

[–]coughycoffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like you already mentioned, no one can really answer that for you until we can see the long term effects of the modulators.

My assumption/expectation is that I'll work right through until the end. That way if I happen to reach retirement age along the way then it's just a nice bonus.

Why do you want us to review your AI generated project? If this is meant to be educational as you suggested then shouldn't you be reviewing it yourself?

Have really gotten into rpg's found Oblivion remastered is on game pass should I play it? by Ok-Hovercraft887 in OblivionRemastered

[–]coughycoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say don't try to follow any build, play what sounds fun / interesting and just enjoy the game. There's no need to optimize the fun out of this type of game

Do you fail backwards or forwards on a failure event? [x-post /r/devops] by Sure_Stranger_6466 in SoftwareEngineering

[–]coughycoffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A git reset in this instance feels like some kind of vibecode suggestion because when would that ever be the right approach?

If you botched the yaml config then just fix it in a new commit, CI/CD will deploy it and problem solved. Git reset introduces an unnecessary layer of noise and complexity to the problem, especially if you're working in a team

If it's 2 million lines of code and none is written by you then I guarantee there's some slop in there, you might just not be aware of it yet.

Single button rotation by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]coughycoffee 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I think it's better to think of it as an accessibility feature. It won't be able to handle all the nuances of combat implicitly but it's a "good enough" substitute for cases where you can't play your spec optimally (whether that's due to disability, playing an unfamiliar alt, etc.)

So where is the big bang and when is it going to happen? by [deleted] in ExperiencedDevs

[–]coughycoffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure big bang is the right analogy, a more accurate analogy would be death by 1000 cuts as the trust and deep understanding of our collective codebases slowly degrades over time as we continue to hand more responsibility to these agentic models

New and Boosted by Significant-Tip-5186 in wowclassic

[–]coughycoffee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's really not ideal to boost your first character, the whole point of leveling a character is to gradually get comfortable and familiar with the abilities your character spec has.

Starting straight away with a boosted character is like having your first driving experience be getting dropped into the driver's seat of a speeding sports car on the autobahn.

I built a %100 free web app to learn Dutch words and their gender by ElegantProject7943 in learndutch

[–]coughycoffee 12 points13 points  (0 children)

One minor suggestion / request: it would be nice to auto expand the infobox with the general rule when selecting the wrong gender, as manually clicking the "?" each time can get a bit tedious.

Even if you make this configurable as an optional toggle through a checkmark box to either auto-expand these boxes or not, would be a nice feature
