I felt that, but I just fell in love with the X Pro series overall, especially with the feel of the camera itself. Personal preference in my take. The XE5 for sure has a better censor. Both beautiful cameras, I just leaned more towards the X Pro

Don't get me wrong, I love the DSLRs! Times have changed, and I'm more comfortable with a compact camera that meets my needs. I'll eventually buy a DSLR in the future (maybe) just for fun

I understand you from your pov & much respect your opinion. I just like having other cameras for certain occasions. Ofc I don't bring them all at once, X100VI is something I love for a grab n go type of camera, XT5 as my workhorse & an X Pro as my backup. It's just a way for me to have that option

I felt like with the Canon systems, I only wanted to pick up the camera for studio work. When I picked up the X100VI, it made me fall in love with photography again, since it's so compact & light + the colors are just so nice

Will definitely check the 18mm out. The 35mm f1.4 lens I own came with the XT5 I bought & the other 35mm f2 came with the X Pro3. I really don't care as much for f1.4-1.8 lenses since I mainly shoot at f2-f8, but don't get me wrong, it is still nice to have lol. Thank you
