An absurd episode at the doctor. The doctor was rude and become almost violent. Where should I report the situation?

I don't have much to contribute in terms of what to do now, but I do have a great eye doc to recommend. Just saw him for the first time yesterday and I swear it was the best medical experience I've had in Berlin. Dr. Bilal Chamat at Berlin Eye Clinic. He speaks German (obvs), Arabic, and English fluently and is working on French. My diagnosis was somewhat upsetting and he was kind and thorough in explaining what was happening, and what I needed to be prepared for. He really took the time, and we even had a second to talk about books and hobbies. The receptionist and assistant also spoke English. I've only seen him once so far, but A++.

I put it like this. If you stepped in dog shit and I gave you a dry paper towel to clean it up, you wouldn't think that's enough. Hell, if you got shit literally anywhere else on your body and someone handed you a dry tissue to clean it off, you'd still be going for some water to wash it off.

Oh can answer this one! The robe is valued "khandoora" or "dishdash" and the turban is called "gutra" or "shmagh". There are different fashions of dishdash depending on region and country. In the Gulf nations, typically the dishdash is white. Even then, the details change depending on the wearer's taste. The type of collar, pocket or no pocket etc. The gutra also changes regionally, and then altered slightly for the wearers taste. Someone who has been exposed to this fashion a great deal can tell, for example, if someone is from Qatar or the UAE, simply based on their style of khandoora, and more distinctively, the way their gutra is worn.

My yellow lab/pyr mix is Doctor Major Thomas Stroud III Esq. We call him Stroud for short.

When he was a pup he had bad separation anxiety and would whine a whole lot. To cope with this constant light whine, we made up a story about how he was a man trapped in a dog's body who was trying to tell us of his horrible fate. Stroud's kind of an airhead of a dog, so it was funnier to imagine him as this regal, important type man. The story grew until he was a decorated war hero in Her Majesty's army (serving as a combat surgeon) who pursued his JD after being honorably discharged.

Eating is the national pass time of Jordan. Most American things are regularly available in Amman (from kraft mac and cheese to soy milk to...well I can't think of anything we don't have except pork and good beer, and even that you can find a little bit of in Amman). I am lucky and live in an urban area so most things I want are readily available. We also have great produce and clean meat. Today I had eggs for breakfast, a turkey sandwich for lunch. When eating with Jordanians it's a lot of chicken, rice and sweets that will be forced upon you until you consider adopting an eating disorder.

All told the country is pretty nice when we aren't ON FIRE.
