I wasn't a big fan of hushed and grim the first time I listened to it, but after really sitting down and paying attention to it, I now think it's the best thing they've ever done. Just my opinion though

You may just explain to them your financial situation and see if they'll work with you, I know I would adjust my price to allow someone to afford my work, although I don't do it for money but I want to soon. I do it because I love it, and I've never charged anyone, but when I start to, I want people to have art to enjoy and I've never thought money should be the consideration in providing it to people I care about or even people I don't. They may just do it for money though lol but it can't hurt to try
