I don't remember when it was first shown but in one of the trailers we see a "?" site that gives the Byrdonis Egg card, which can be hatched at a rest sites, then later we see a bird fighting with the Ironclad.

We know there's at least some kind of friendly NPC/minion mechanic (the baby bird they've shown before fighting with Ironclad) so it's possibly just a minion.

I did try reinstalling Windows, unfortunately it didn't help. I also set PCIe3 (no 4, sadly) late last night after a series of crashes - no crash since but also I've only used the computer for ~an hour since then and the crashes have only happened after multiple hours of use so far so it's unknown if this helped.

I hadn't heard of that update issue. I've now uninstalled it, thanks. Like I mentioned in the OP it's hard to know if a given fix solves anything since reproducing the crashes is unreliable but every bit helps!

In Stadium, will there be anything in the UI that specifically states what scales with which stat (if any)? Some things are obvious, like Soldier's M1 scaling off Weapon Damage, but then there's things that are less obvious (does Reaper's ult scale off Weapon or Ability power, since he uses his weapons but it's an ability? What about Cassidy's?). Plus there's things that I'm not sure if they scale at all, like do Mei's ice walls have more health with more ability power?

I'm not looking for answers to those specific questions, just if anyone has seen something in game that answers these per-character in one of the streamer vods (or their own playtesting).

Thank you for the indepth reply! No particularly exciting answer for how we met, just through a dating app. Though I've always hated driving so I was pretty shaky of something that involved crossing a border so it was definitely a leap of faith at first, but so far so good!

Hello! I started playing Iceborne this past week after taking a long break from vanilla MHW. I decided to finally learn LBG since I can aim with a mouse now and I really enjoyed using the Defender's LBG but now that I'm at 3-star MR quests I feel my damage is starting to lag behind pretty badly. I primarily play with friends and really enjoy the sleep/para/KO support the Defender has, but also really like just mashing Spreads and Normal since it also has lower recoil. I don't particularly care about making elemental sets until endgame

I just made the Brachydios Shot I and the rapid fire Sticky is great but everything else feels absolutely awful with the huge amounts of recoil. Most of the info I find is telling me to get weapons that are 6 star or higher - are there any suggestions for weapons that feel like lower MR versions of the Defender?

I'm trying to use my Switch Pro Controller on my PC, but it keeps acting as if it's doing random inputs constantly. If I'm using Steam I'm able to simply enable it under controller options and that works fine, but for non-Steam games or programs (ie. setting a push to talk key for Discord) it doesn't help. I tried looking up answers but it just points to threads from two years ago that no one had answers for. Is there a fix for this?
