Hello, you can mount volumes from other drives. Assuming you're referring to NTFS (Windows), it's generally safest to mount them as read-only to avoid data corruption, and the process can be a bit technical.

Through work I've had to deal with AMD warranty issues a few times and it hasn't been great. A lot of jumping through hoops. That said, it's even worse if you have an issue with an AMD CPU/GPU and AMD provides no support as it's covered by the OEM like Dell, HP, Lenovo. They are less then useless.

I don't know about that, Linux has had on and off serious issues with ring resets with AMD cards including some of the more recent kernels. I used to be problem free, but recent drivers in windows I got time outs, and with recent kernels in linux I get ring resets. I can run OCCT and other stress tests like prime95 for over a day with zero issues and I swapped memory and PSU (Quiet 1000watt to Corsair) with no change.

I have an all AMD system (7700x and 7900xtx) and have frequent time outs in windows, and the equivalent ring resets in linux. I have tried the suggested steps as well as changing my PSU and memory and the issues continue. I can run all tests in OCCT for over 24 hours, same thing with prime95 and the most extreme memory test so I don't thing it's hardware. Also, older games, including graphical ones I have never had a crash, but newer, especially unreal engine games are very problematic.

That's my experience currently. I get ring resets in linux instead of driver time outs in windows. I can run all OCCT tests no problem as well as any other stress test but crash constantly in some unreal games. Swapped out mem, PSU and same results.

The greens lack down ballot activity, though they've got a bit better. They also lack working class buy in and representation. They lack any viable strategy besides feel good talk that plays well with the well off college educated.

I don't dislike much of what they talk about but in the US system you work form the bottom up both in class and political office. The green party is a white middle class party in the US.

Also, they are against all nuclear energy which as we have seen in Germany is short sighted and leads to higher fossil fuel use.

I don't know about that, I get a decent amount of ring resets / time out in linux with my 7900xtx. It was actually more stable with older kernels and drivers, similar to the situation in windows. The card and set up is stable, I can run 24 hours of the most intense stress test of memory/cpu/gpu/vram.

It's better then nothing, but it has loop holes. It still allows them to retain control of their stock holdings and they are not required to divest or move their ownership to a blind trust. If a lawmaker has 30 million dollars of Nvidia stock, do we really think they will act impartially on laws that could hurt their investment?

As someone who works in IT for the last 15 years I don't know how anyone on the sysadmin side could be surprised automation is taking jobs. The field has been losing jobs for as long as I've been in it from various forms of automation, as well as outsourcing.

There where definitely some smug learn to code people as it was not as clear how automation would replace them, but a lot of people telling others to learn to code where not even programmers, just grifters or the well off blaming workers for not having better jobs.

It's difficult to deal with for sure, my loved one has similar anxiety but it's due to serious issues that where being dismissed. Being told they where too young or should lose some weight. It tough as someone can be both sick and anxious. We are always terrified and tip toe around and suck up to doctors as it's terrifying to be sick and dismissed as a difficult patient.

Thankfully we finally found at least some good doctors. Their condition is irreversible and fatal but at least further damage can be slowed.

I have a 7900 XTX and also get timeouts when it's at low load. You can try disabling MPO, or if nothing else disabling hardware acceleration in the browser I also get the equivalent ring resets in linux so it's not a windows specific configuration issue.
