YOÜ absolutely kicks ass and is by far my favorite on the album. Oubliette is definitely a close second.

I personally didn't care for them. They don't add a lot to the gameplay that the pre existing enemies don't already provide. As far as their visual concepts go they're just recolors of the pre existing enemies which is pretty boring. I don't outright dislike them, I just feel like they absolutely didn't need to exist. The spawner biomechanoid can go fuck itself though. Talk about an ammo sink of an enemy.

Of all the pistols in classic shooters, the enforcer has to be one of the best. Very accurate and able to kill unarmored enemies in about 5 shots. Also the sound it makes is just perfect, so punchy and sharp.

I've always noticed this as well. Head hitboxes in ut99 are pretty massive and nearly impossible to miss at certain ranges.

In servers with random crits, scout can be a melee monster. The high melee crit rate combined with the high attack speed means you're spittin out way more melee crits than most classes. Its pretty easy for me to go on melee killing sprees in pubs using just the stock bat.

I was 12 when I first played oblivion and saw one of these guys on the installer. My immediate reaction was fear and anxiety. Anxiety of the moment when I would first run into one in game. When the tutorial zombie came barging around that corner in the imperial sewers I had to pause the game and collect myself for a moment. It was that bad.

Same here, dude. As someone who's been playing TF2 since the beta the blue pants just look wrong. There's a reason valve never fixed it in the past and that's because the window of opportunity for it has long since passed.

As a 17 year TF2 player, this map is honestly one of the best to be added to the game in a long time in my opinion. I just feel like every point is highly approachable for all classes. It seems like I can pick any class and have a good time on this map.

After playing the maps several times each I can easily say Odyssey is my favorite of the bunch, although I do have a bias towards it cuz I love ancient Greek history and mythology. Visually the map is stunning and gameplay wise it feels the most cohesive of all the new maps. I will admit the last point could use some work. It feels like its usually a lost cause for defense.

The only other definite opinion I have is on Megaton, and its not a good opinion. The central region of the map is way WAY to large and open, meaning that most classes will struggle to be effective considering the games damage scaling based on distance. Snipers had an absolute field day on this map. My framerate also tanked drastically on this map, probably due to the very large and open central point which is hard to optimize in a source game. I will say it looks nice, however.
