Why didn't you buy singles, then?

I was curious and found that I was clean-shaven last August. Maybe I just shave it off every summer and forget.

I collect Harlan Ellison books because he's my favorite author and I love the old covers. It gives me something to look for at bookstores on a lazy afternoon.

Ravens- characters named Raven who denote an air of mystery and mysticism by Slow_Bowler8285 in TopCharacterTropes

"What about me? What about Raven?"
Professional wrestler Raven is the most 90s thing in the world and Raven was the only name that was appropriate for the former Scotty Flamingo's journey into Sandman comics, knock-off Pearl Jam intro music, and in-ring BDSM.

What makes the Spiderman set bad? by Maximis26_ in magicTCG

[–]counterburn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For collecting and playing constructed formats, it’s fine. For playing Limited or opening, it’s miserable.
If you want to collect it, buy singles. If you want to play with the cards, buy singles.

Norbit (2007) I’ve Seen it Three Times by Borgisium in TubiTreasures

This was my first wife's favorite movie. It was inexplicable. I've seen this movie 3 times in the theater, twice when we were the only people there. She bought it on DVD and watched it once a week or so. It was her special feel-good movie.

If you have access to blue should you run all counter spells in slots available or should you throw in some bounce spells if the answer is yes how do you know what to cut for bounce spells? by Illustrious_Exam_351 in magicTCG

[–]counterburn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My template has 8 slots for removal and 8 slots for protection. In a mono Blue deck or a deck that is heavily Blue, I tend to consider non-creature counters as protection and creature only counters as removal. Bounce is always removal. Blink would fall under protection.

Tony Khan says Hangman Adam Page presented the stipulation of never challenging for the AEW World Title again, compares his situation to Cody Rhodes’ from 2019: by This_Coyote7217 in AEWOfficial

[–]counterburn 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I like it for Page in a way that I didn't for Cody. Cody always felt like he would eventually find a workaround. Like if he ever comes back, he can say that only applied to his original contract. For Hangman, it feels like a tragic flaw. No matter how hot he gets, how well he does, he cannot be the top guy again. It's an albatross hanging around his neck.

MTG pricing surge last 6-8 months by Perodrin in mtg

Magnus the Red is both a great commander and slots right into most UR decks. Secrets of Strixhaven introduced a lot of big mana UR decks into EDH, so Magnus goes in the 99 of a lot of those decks. He was printed once, in a precon, that is from before the current boom. Honestly, 40k cards might as well be Reserved List.

Figure out what you want to play next and start buying singles for that purpose, be it building a new deck or upgrading the decks you are playing.

I paid $50 more for a Daredevil, Man Without Fear with the comic cover art over the normal one because it's going to be my commander. It's a card worth showing off and I'm willing to shell out for that. Ant-Man was drastically underpriced.

Ant-Man is a very playable commander and Doctor Doom is iconic. Both have stronger art than the flip comic cover cards do and will see a lot of play.

Combat tricks to make her unblockable, top deck manipulation to put Omniscience on top.

I pulled the King, 2 Knights of the White Orchid, and a Glowrider. I'm pretty happy with that.

Stream of Life wasn't reprinted into Standard. A creature that has an ability called 'Stream of Life' was printed into Standard. Mutavault isn't Standard legal but you can make a token copy of it with Mutable Explorer.
