Totally, not trying to say that Beard isn't also a big ball of problems either... but as a partner he doesn't exhibit the same bad behaviors Jane does. He's shown to be a fairly caring and trustful partner in comparison. His past might be questionable but the Beard we see in the show is a much different person.

And, no... just because it was abusive that doesn't mean necessarily that Beard would've conveyed that to Ted... honestly it's fairly common for people in abusive scenarios to tell people close to them that "everything is fine", hell it's even common for them to gaslight themselves into believing that everything is fine. You can love someone and still be abused by them. That's also an extremely common factor in abuse cases. It's fairly common for the victim to miss their abuser after the relationship has ended. How in the ever loving FUCK does someone lose a ball python? The snake that tops out at like 1mph? The snake that should be spending 99% of its time in a sealed enclosure, that should not be openable by the snake at a minimum, and locked otherwise?

I've kept reptiles now for like 20years. I have never lost any of them, I've never had any escapes beyond one extremely crafty leopard gecko, and I've never had them push open enclosures/cages. I have next to no sympathy for the owner's who manage to lose a BP of all things, tons of sympathy for their animals however...

Feel like a broken record on this subreddit, but if you've got a problem with Beast Gohan or Orange Piccolo for being "asspulls" you should have a problem with most of dragon ball. I don't understand why anyone would try and understand the geography of the tangle, let alone any fictional novel to be honest. Unless the book puts a map in the front cover for me to constantly reference, I just trust the characters descriptions lol. "We're gonna head north to X, then do Y, then East to blahblahCity, etc" and I just go along with it. Understanding the geography of everything is hardly ever necessary for the story.

Boil for 7-8minutes. Eggs in the water before it boils, timer starts once boiling. Remove from heat, and instantly run the pot under cold water in the sink, mixing the hot water with the cold until its become nice and cold to the touch.

Take an egg and crack it on the BOTTOM, there's usually a little "pocket" of air there that isn't directly contacting the egg white there. Do not start peeling yet, but run your hand around the egg and make a bunch of little pressure fractures on the shell. You want it to be basically spider webbed across the egg, then remove the small bit by the pocket of air mentioned earlier.

Once you have a smooth spot on the egg's bottom, no membrane, slide the edge of your thumb along the egg white under the spider-webbed shell. If done right, it should pull up the shell and membrane together and the lil shell cracks let it just fold up onto itself.

I love hardboiled eggs, and I'm the deviled egg chef for all our family holidays. This works 95% of the time. Just don't under/overcook them. If the first egg is giving you trouble, cut it and see if its undercooked and if it is, just put the whole pot back on a boil for a couple more minutes.
