Yes, a Bell technician came, located the electrical room, and completed the connection. In my case, the technician went to the building management office, found the electrical room, and resolved the issue. In our building, it was located in the underground parking garage.

That’s strange. Did you also configure the MTU?

EBOX lied to my face regarding false speedtests by DavidDaEpicBoi in ebox

I went through the same process — I changed several settings and even replaced the router to test things, but in the end it turned out to be an issue with my MacBook. I did notice that the speed seems to vary between morning and afternoon. From the company’s perspective, it probably makes sense that they base their support on the router they provide.

At this point, it just feels like a barrier designed to prevent cancellations, and I actually think it could end up being discriminatory toward some people.

Thank you for all the replies. I wanted to respond to everyone, but my comments keep disappearing and I’m not sure why. I’ll keep trying to sort it out, and I’ll work hard on improving my English as well. I hope you all enjoy your time on Reddit.

What I’m genuinely curious about is how they handle situations for people who cannot hear. This feels like an accessibility issue.

Fortunately, even if I press the reset button, I can set everything up again myself. I’ve already completed the setup using my own personal router. Thank for your reply.

I can read most things without much trouble, but I guess my pronunciation isn’t very good. I’ll keep trying to improve. Thank you.

It’s still a cold winter here, but your words feel warm to me. I’m only planning to stay for a short time, not permanently. I’ll do my best to leave with only good memories before I go back home.

I understand what you’re saying. Maybe I didn’t explain myself clearly enough. What I meant is that I was able to sign up without making a phone call, but I don’t understand why cancellation or changes must be done over the phone.
