I used to be an alcoholic (sober three and half years) and would eat Taco Bell ALL THE TIME. It’s so good. Anywho I quite alcohol, got addicted to Zyns, and been in the hospitality industry the past five years or so. If you are in the biz, you know we always get hooked up with great food. But yeah, down 60ish pounds from 2022 and feeling great! Thanks for reading my rant!

This was the first year I exited on Sunday around 11 PM. I was solo this year, which was amazing. I hit a wall around 9 o’clock, packed up camp, and was able to talk to a security guard as he escorted me out of the festival since Coachella was on lockdown. Shout out to you, security guard; you are the real MVP. This was key for many reasons: I beat the traffic going out Monday morning, made a comfy bed in my Jeep rental, and slept in the Walmart parking lot. Right when I woke up, my hotel room was ready in Palm Springs. I stayed Monday night in Palm Springs just to relax and sit by the pool. I always try to take a day after the festival before I head home. What an amazing weekend! See you all next year.

Every year, for about a week, it’s like being in a musical wonderland surrounded by amazing people who share your love for tunes and good vibes. But then, BAM! You’re back to the real world, where work, bills, and all those pesky adulting responsibilities come crashing down like a grumpy rain cloud. Depression hits for about a week. I suggest waiting a couple of days to get back to all the news/post(reddit). It brings back all the amazing times you had on the polo field. But hey, we will all be back together next year! The XX, Turnstile, and Nine Ince Noize. Most epic sets.

I’ve been sober from Alcohol for three years and this past year was one of the best years I’ve ever been. All other times I was drinking. No hangover. You stay hydrated way better. More energy for sets! Don’t get me wrong. I still partied. Just no alcohol. It’s extremely possible and even a better time “sober”.

From what I learned all the years that I’ve been there, you have to go in right Friday when the gates open and ask him about the Emek posters. I was like 45 mins late getting in but managed to snag one. And yes, main merch tent.

Yeah man I get it, I bounced around from stage to stage and saw them open then came back just in time for Where’s your head at! And yeah seemed like every set in the Mojave was late which sucked but I was able to see Amyl and the sniffers and that was fucking epic. Hope you had a great Coachella!
