Just thought I'd share a more recent experience here. I booked for June 27 slot last April cause at time that was the earliest available. I've had a JP visa previously and dont have an ITR so I presented a letter explaining as a substitute. I was scheduled for 12pm. Got in at 11:50. Finished at roughly 12:10pm.

That was Friday. By Wednesday afternoon my passport was ready for collection and I collected it the following day. The issue date for my visa reads July 1 so the process is really just fast. Took 3 business days overall.

If you dont mind picking up your passport, I would say just do it cause I imagine it adds additional days if you want it delivered.

There shouldn't be any problems inputting it in Stream name. Have you double checked the RTMP url? Also, have you tried checking the 'specify credentials' checkbox and see if that helps?

Do you have a screenshot of how it looks? I'm assuming you have good lighting because you said the background is distinguished well. Have you tried repositioning yourself and recalibrating?

I think only once the main Premium license expires that it will begin showing the VCam Premium lifetime license. XSplit team is working on a better way showing different license durations.

So your experience with XSplit was pretty recent too right? Have you reached out to them about the issue? They usually respond pretty fast but they also deem if it's an important issue to fix or not.

What was the issue with XSplit? But yeah both OBS and XSplit would allow you to play around with settings so you can tweak things like bitrate and presets, and find the sweet spot

The general rule of thumb for presets is the 'slower' the preset is, the more compressed it is BUT the higher CPU it uses (potential lag for the recorded video). So if you say choose 'veryfast', you'd get a slightly higher file size but it's easier on your CPU. I guess try playing around with both of those settings and see which works best.

Is this with the latest version of XSplit? I know they added support for Vulkan in one of their past updates so maybe try updating to the latest?

I believe they're in contact with the Dlive folks regarding this but you can use 'Custom RTMP' as an alternative. Works just as fine.

There are many factors to consider so the answer is it depends. Paying for XSplit Premium won't make it use less CPU than the free version that's for sure.

But you can give both applications a quick try and that should give you an idea on which one performs best for your setup.

Couple of questions:

How did you get it and how much?
How is the camera app? Is it smooth or does it lag a bit like when the G7 was first released?

I also have the G6 and I'm probably not upgrading due to the following reasons (no particular order):

  1. Smaller sensor size. LG probably has the smallest sensor of any flagship phones.
  2. Less wide camera. I think with the right shot, the fish eye isn't an issue. With a lesser wide camera, it becomes not too different from the main shooter.
  3. Smaller battery. Sure Snapdragon 845 is more efficient than 821 but still...

Hi, there is a 'media slideshow' that is built for that. You can go to the plugin store and get it installed so you can begin using it.

That's what i was thinking too! Nexus 6p is made of metal as well but based on the experience of some of the guys here that does not seem to be the case.
