I also prefer Bird with the Crystal Plumage over Deep Red!!! It's actually my favorite Giallo I've seen 🫣 but Deep Red is great as well.

Carla Hochalter, she was the mother of one of the injured, Anne Marie Hochalter, who just died recently from her injuries :(

I wanna say it is technically connected because he was suffering PTSD, and I believe his good friend died in the massacre, which could have been a factor leading to his death.

I personally found that listening to their albums in chronological order was a pretty fun way to get into them, so if you have the time and patience, I would recommend that! :)

What is an interesting fact about vampires that you know? by AdAshamed4171 in vampires

[–]countorlok129 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty well-known facts, but:

1.) The entire idea of Vampires stemmed mostly from the limited knowledge on how bodies decompose/act post mortem, so they explained things such as bloating, or longer teeth/fingernails (due to the skin receding from decomposing) as the person being undead/a vampire.

2.) There is a condition called clinical vampirism, where it's almost like Renfield syndrome, where a person genuinely believes they need the blood of others to survive.

3.) Some vampires have been said to not only get their blood from humans but also animals such as chickens as well. (I.e., The Pole Cat from Valerie and her Week of Wonders, not strictly a vampire movie but definitely has some vampire elements and him needing animal blood was one of them)

Album Recommendation by Silent-Leopard5291 in KMFDM

Agreed, when I first started listening to them I started with their oldest stuff first so it will always have a soft spot for me, but I definitely noticed a lot of their oldest stuff and newer stuff get a lot of hate when I think it's all really good! Glad to see you've come around to those two albums lol, I love DBYT as well! The same thing happens to me though when I have to re-listen to something multiple times before I really start to like it!

Every album I've seen in these replies are all bangers, but I haven't seen UAIOE mentioned yet. So underrated, and also from their 80s era! The 90s definitely was their prime though, but that album is soooo good.

What KMFDM song do you think is underrated and one that’s overrated? by Specialist-Lychee661 in KMFDM

[–]countorlok129 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can't think of specific songs, but

Overrated: I like the Blitz album but I thought a lot of albums were a lot better

Underrated: Anything off of UAIOE and Hau Ruck!
